Speaking Truth to Power

The Washington Post asks "How does a Harvard professor and Pulitzer Prize-winning author manage to blow up her brief political consulting career over the use of the phrase 'off the record'?"
One can debate the tactics or propriety, but it's clear Pulitzer-prize-winner Samantha Power was expressing a sentiment widespread within the Obama campaign, and among many staunch Democrats. She's a monster.
Here's the Post story in full.

Electability
Hillary lost to Obama in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Washington, Colorado, Missouri and Virginia--all PURPLE states. The candidate who can win these purple states in the fall is the best candidate. That person is Obama. Either candidate will win the blue states, that's why they're considered blue states. Polls taken in many of these states comparing McCain vs. Obama and McCain vs. Clinton back this up.
Three weeks in a row now Saturday Night Live has blasted Obama, with the latest skit making him look like a weak, stupid idiot. Saturday Night Live and their advertisers need to be boycotted. We learned the hard way in 2000, what an effect their skits can actually have on an election.
Interesting how Hillary loved being called a bitch over and and over on Saturday Night Live, but was thought it was so horrible when Samantha Power, off the record, thought Clinton was a monster because of all the Karl Rove tactics Hillary has embraced. Clearly, if Power had referred to her as a bitch, it would have been fine.
